About Us

BRIEF HISTORY

Growing Together Limited (“Growing Together”) was established in Hong Kong in 1999 by a number of charities to support the development of an inclusive and caring society where all citizens enjoy the fundamental human rights protected by international conventions.

MISSION

Growing Together seeks to ensure that all SEN children from non-Cantonese speaking families receive their natural, given right to obtain a well-rounded education

VISION

Growing Together aims to provide a service platform for non-Cantonese speaking child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) child via:

  • Gathering an dispersing information that enables non-Cantonese speaking parents to support their SEN child more proactively and effectively in Hong Kong
  • Embedding the critical seeds of knowledge for the SEN child, so the child can adapt into a more independent lifestyle, as well as become self-empowered to become a valuable member to the community
  • Growing and maintaining a rich foundation of resources through cultivating a medium for information exchange, as well as a platform used to relay shared experiences within the Growing Together community
  • Cultivating relationships and building a network of educational tools & services that will serve the SEN child throughout the educational life cycle
