Daddy Daughter Ball 2010: The Father-Daughter Event
A daughter may outgrow your lap, but she will never outgrow your heart ~unknown.
Here at the Child Development Centre, we acknowledge the unique and significant relationship between fathers and daughters. Saturday, 12 June 2010 marked Child Development Centre’s 1st Daddy Daughter Ball at the Aberdeen Marina Club. The Ball was a great success with over 300 fathers and daughters from the local Chinese and expatriate communities in attendance. CDC had a special photo booth to capture the magical moment, a games room for dad and their daughters, including a teddy bear making stall, nail painting booth, father’s day card making and even a putting green. Snow White, Belle, Cinderella and Jasmine also made a visit! The ball was filled with exciting activities and entertainment. CDC thanked their sponsors, their volunteers and staff for making Daddy Daughter Ball so special. Everyone shared a fabulous and memorable evening and CDC looks forward to the next Daddy Daughter Ball.
Your little girl(s) are growing into young ladies before your eyes. Show the young lady in your life just how important she is by inviting her to a special evening out for a magical night to remember! The Ball is designed to foster positive relationships between fathers and their daughters, capture that special memory and provide an opportunity to show your daughter that you will always be one of the most important men in her life.
The Child Development Centre is now planning our 2nd Daddy Daughter Ball which will be held on 18 June 2011 at the Aberdeen Marina Club. All father figures are welcome to the ball and please bring your princesses too! This year will be even more special with father’s day on that same weekend! We look forward to welcoming you to the Daddy Daughter Ball.
The Daddy Daughter Ball provides a quality, memorable and wholesome event for fathers and daughters of all ages. Girls are invited to bring their fathers out for a night of ballroom fun. This enchanted evening will be filled with surprises, magic and fun; but not to worry, no glass slippers will be lost and you and your daughter will be home before midnight. Proceeds will go towards supporting The Child Development Centre in its program development and expansion. So, give your daughter(s) the undivided attention she deserves, hop on a magical carpet ride and take them on a Daddy Daughter date.
This will be one of the many unforgettable moments to remember!
